San Francisco, CA Description:
Our client is seeking a Sr. Interoperability Java Engineer for a full-time, permanent position in San Francisco, CA. This job will start on a remote-basis, but will require on-site work in San Francisco after COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.
Our company is making significant investments in enhancing the integration capabilities of our products in the Oncology space. We are looking at better supporting our customer's requirements around integration using legacy standards such as HL7, but are also looking ahead at supporting modern web based standards such as FHIR as part of our cloud strategy. You will use your development expertise with these standards and work with product to build scalable, turnkey integration solutions. You will be DevOps friendly and you will write, test and deploy your own code.

6+ years within of Software Engineering & Integration experience.
STRONG JAVA EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL
Experience building APIs with open standards based authentication frameworks like OAuth and SMART
Experience with healthcare integration standards such as FHIR, CCDA, Cloverleaf HL7, SMART on FHIR and CDS Hooks, FHIR pub/sub, IHE_ITI etc.
An understanding of healthcare data, including coding systems
Proficiency using modern web development technologies and techniques
Experience building web services
Experience in creating or working in large scale distributed applications (Cloud/SaaS is a plus)
Experience with at least one major healthcare integration engines such as Cloverleaf(preferred), Mirth Connect, Corepoint, Mulesoft
Integration experience with EMRs
Experience supporting real-time integration in an enterprise healthcare setting
Strong grasp of CS fundamentals including algorithms, data structures and design is preferredContact:
