Title: Sr./Cloud Integration Engineer
Location: San Francisco, CA or Salt Lake City, UT


The Federal Reserve Bank is looking for a Sr. Cloud Integration Engineers to join us in our San Francisco or Salt Lake City branch to work with the National Integration Services team. This team is focused on enabling a distributed and scalable API Management Platform for the Federal Reserve System. We are looking for individuals who are passionate (like us) about driving emerging technology. Essential Responsibilities:
You will apply your engineering skills building API Gateway Solutions that support all of the twelve Federal Reserve Banks. You will build your skills in other areas by being exposed to various aspects of product delivery from inception, through design, build, and deployment.

You will work multi-functionally with Architects, Engineers, Business Analysts, and Service Managers across multiple teams in a rapidly evolving environment. We will work together from completing design documentation, to consulting with other specialists and architects, developing Infrastructure as Code to launch server instances, install and configure software, amongst other things.

Requirements:

At staff level requires three years of related development experience in an enterprise environment, at Senior level requires five years of related development experience in an enterprise environment
Working knowledge of middleware technology: MuleSoft, or CA API Gateway, or IBM Connect

Experience in EC2, Automation, Cloud Formation, Terraform, Packer, Infrastructure
Linux (or other Unix) experience is required
Cloud development experience is required, with AWS (Amazon Web Services) strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of security design and practices and technologies for the enterprise, SSL, TSL, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SSO, etc.
Proven ability to write clear and concise communications: technical documents, design documents, specifications, and technology roadmaps
Strong collaboration, leadership, and time management skills
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related technical field or equivalent work experience

Preferred Skills:
JAVA development
Scripting with Python
Ansible and Infrastructure as Code scripting is strongly preferred
Kubernetes
Cloud Technologies: Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Working knowledge of application integration services like Enterprise Service Bus, Messaging brokers, File Transfer, ConnectDirect, etc.
Practical experience and knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Mircoservices and API Management
Knowledge of high-availability, load-balancing and failover configurations across application, infrastructure, and platform components
Understanding of security design and practices for the enterprise
Critical thinking skills highly preferred
Experience with and/or working knowledge the Financial Industry, Government Agencies, Federal Reserve Bank Lines of Business (LoBs) Applications
