 Below is are the major skills we need:

• Experience analyzing enterprise applications and migrating existing workloads to Azure should include:
• Performing discovery within existing applications to determine resources in use.
• Mapping dependencies among applications and resources.
• Determining and recommending appropriate Azure service models.
• Planning and outlining high-level migration strategies.
• Experience with Azure DevOps resources including Logic Apps, Functions, Web Apps, API Management, and Key Vault in production environments.
• Knowledge and experience with Azure Logic Apps and Azure Functions should include making recommendations in their use to replace existing on-prem processes.
• Experience in designing and implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery environments on Azure DevOps/VSTS and TFS.  This should include experience with configuration and use of Azure Release Pipelines to deploy code to development and production environments where deployment is controlled by Pre-Deployment Approvals and Gates.
• Experience and working knowledge of Azure Platform as a Service products, such as App Services, Notification Hub, Event Hub, Functions, Cosmos, Table Storage.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, CMMI methodologies.
• Working knowledge of supporting IT infrastructure technologies such as networking, storage and security.
• 10+ years’ experience in application architecture, design and implementation of Microsoft based solutions, leveraging the .NET Framework, .NET Core a plus.

XMS Solutions is seeking Professional Services Consultants to support our Microsoft Practice focusing on our Messaging and Active Directory capabilities. These Professional Services Consultants frequently travel to customer sites to provide expertise during Active Directory or Exchange deployment, integration, upgrades and migration projects. A current DOD Security Clearance is a plus as XMS Solutions is very active in the Public sector. Consultants may live anywhere in the United States provided they are within driving distance of an airport. The Successful Candidates will work as part of the Professional Services team to provide expertise and solutions to customers to meet their business needs. Excellent communication skills as well as technical ability are crucial to the role. An ability to ensure quality service delivery and a determination to professionally accomplish complex projects is required. Business acumen is also a benefit to recognize cross or up-selling opportunity and an ability to adapt to tight timelines is a must.

As a successful Consultant you will be able to work independently to design and implement solutions utilizing industry best practices, provide custom scripts, troubleshoot issues in Customer environments and operate as a member of a virtual product team. A flexible attitude, capacity for absorbing information and keeping current with industry trends and technology is essential. You will gain exposure to enterprise environments incorporating Directory Services, Messaging and Collaboration, Web, Database, ERP, and CRM deployments so a good cross-platform technology background is desired.
