Job Description

Looking for an experienced Senior Curam Technical Analyst to work as a key part of the team working with a systems integrator to implement a large-scale, complex integrated solution based on IBM Curam Social Program Management Platform (version 7).


Project Description and Status

The scope of the project includes acquisition, configuration, development and implementation of a modern, commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS).  The solution requires a modern application architecture which includes, an easy to use interface for both internal service delivery staff and public users, a high level of automation, and establishes a modern enterprise-class technical foundation that can be leveraged to modernize additional benefits programs.


Position Duties

This position will work as part of the project team and initially provide an expert Curam technical assessment of Curam development artifacts (configuration, code base, database configuration and customization, reporting configuration and customization, etc.) completed to date on the project.  Following the assessment, the position will remain as part of the project team, part-time as needed, to provide expert Curam technical consulting.


Position Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.  Candidate may substitute 3 years of work experience for 1 year of education.
  • At least seven years of full life-cycle system development experience.  Extensive SDLC experience utilizing waterfall, agile and hybrid methodologies.
  • Prior experience with IBM Cúram Version 7.x.
  • Certification in IBM Cúram 6.0 or greater as a certified Cúram Developer or Analyst. Must attach a copy of the Cúram certificate.
  • Extensive experience with best practices for IBM Curam configuration, customization and implementation. 
  • Minimum of ten (10) years IBM Cúram software development and maintenance experience, including a minimum of four (4) IBM Cúram projects.
  • Experience with multiple major releases of IBM Cúram V6, V6.0.5, V7.
  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience with full SDLC lifecycle implementing IBM Cúram.
  • Experience implementing MAGI & Non-MAGI programs using IBM Cúram V7 into production.
  • Experience integrating IBM ESB Stack with IBM Cúram.
  • Experience implementing Reporting using IBM Cognos and IBM Cúram.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to gather and provide information effectively when under pressure, regardless of audience (i.e., project sponsors, stakeholders, teams).
  • Must be able to work well within a team environment and have exceptional collaboration skills with all levels of business and technical staff.
  • Strong organization, planning, problem solving, decision making skills and attention to detail.  Comfortable prioritizing and managing multiple tasks with minimal direction.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio).
  • Performs other related duties as assigned


  • Experience as a Curam Architect on at least two (2) projects.
