Job Description

Position : Tibco Admin

Location : Pittsburgh, PA

Duration : 6+ months Contract

Job Description:

  • Install, patch, monitor, diagnose, performance tune Tibco spotfire
  • Provide SME advice on architecture, design and implementation of new projects and deliverables to applications
  • Follow best practice implementation process - checklist, pre/post implementation validation and checkout, exercised backout procedures for platform stability and high success rate
  • Develop and manage Hawk rules
  • Perform Trend analysis, identify top incidents and work with respective teams/individual to minimize the incidents
  • Manage TIBCO Spotfire analytical platform which includes Spotfire components viz. Spotfire Web Player, Spotfire Server, Spotfire professional Client
  • Perform configuration and administration (Library/User Management/Migrations) of Spotfire platform including all the Spotfire components.
  • Spotfire Platform capacity planning, capture usage trend metrics and provide performance tuning recommendations.
  • Co-ordination during for system upgrades or migrations
  • Co-ordinate change management process with application team
  • Setup automated alerts and monitors to prevent failures
  • Apply regular hot fixes and maintenance packages
  • Support and execute Preventive maintenance activities
  • Installation and Architecture of Spotfire server. Upgradation and Hotfixes.
  • Configuration changes in Spotfire Server and Web player.
  • Authorization and Authentication. Spotfire Library DB Architecture. Spotfire Log in DB . Web Player Motioning.
  • Routing Rule Mechanism of schedules. Load Balancing of Servers. Server Debugging. Identify issues using Server Logs.
  • configuring spotfire with Google cloud
  • Good knowledge of cloud environment


  • 5-10 years of Tibco Suite Administration
  • 2 years of cloud environment experience
  • 3-4 years developing Hawk rules
  • 5-10 years with ServiceNow, Remedy or other ticketing management tool Strong Windows, AIX/Unix/Linux administration
  • Diagnostic and root cause determination skills
