Job Description

Sr. PHP Developer

Blue Chip Talent is currently looking for few Sr. PHP Developers to work in Charlotte NC. Candidates need to be able to write clean code and strong on PHP. We are looking for a full-stack engineer to support existing systems and help design and build new systems. Top candidates will have a very strong understanding of enterprise design patterns and building software with utmost concern for quality, high availability, performance, scalability, and security. 

There will be a code test to view code as we are looking for someone who know how to develope "clean code".

  1. All candidates must be able to work on our W2 with no restrictions. At this time, client is not able to sponsor any Visas.
  2. No 3rd Party Vendors are allowed or C2C.
  3. Candidates must be able to work in the Charlotte NC area onsite.

 

Qualifications and Required Experience for Sr. PHP Developer

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 5+ years experience in a SOA or similar architecture with good knowledge of design patterns
  • 3+ years of PHP Development experience
  • Full stack knowledge of PHP and previous experience with MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (DOM, jQuery)
  • Experience with yii framework is highly desired but not a deal breaker
  • Strong knowledge of REST / SOAP API
  • Strong knowledge of GIT, ability to troubleshoot and resolve branching and commit issues
  • Knowledge of MVC (and related) architectures
  • Experience with SQL databases and queries
  • In-depth knowledge of application security and best practices

 

Primary Responsibilities for Sr. PHP Developer

  • Develop and maintain PHP/Angular/React application
  • Write well-designed and efficient code
  • Write SQL queries, Unit test code
  • Write application documentation
  • Review, test, and debug team members' code
