Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems sector is seeking a Sr. Principal Electrical Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Azusa, CA. Put your years of experience into a future of excellence. The successful applicant will be assigned to perform hardware design and analysis of circuit card assemblies required for multiple Military and Civil space programs. This engineering position requires technical understanding and experience in design, analysis, integration & test of circuit card assembly (CCA), and anomaly investigation. The position requires coordination with multi-discipline functions to ensure that the product meets requirements. Specific assignments may include deriving design requirements, performing analog, power, and digital circuit design, schematic capture, PCB layout, circuit card assembly part selection, signal integrity and power integrity analysis, trade studies, and troubleshooting to support anomaly resolution during subsystem integration and test. The applicant may be assigned to participate in design reviews, generate design documents and perform design analyses. Additional responsibilities may be assigned commensurate with performance or due to business needs. Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in a STEM Field (Science, Technology, Engineering Mathematics) & 9+ years of related technical engineering experience OR Master's Degree in a STEM field & 7+ years of experience * Experience in electrical design, hardware design, or product development * Ability to obtain & maintain DoD Secret Clearance (Those authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship are encouraged to apply.ship Required)
