Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is seeking a Sr. Principal Software Quality Engineer to join our growing team of qualified, diverse professionals in Orlando, Florida. The selected applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Northrop Grumman's Quality and Mission Assurance team for the SATCOM Ground Systems Department and will be responsible for Quality and Mission Assurance support for the Common Network Planning Software (CNPS) Program. The Sr. Principal Software Quality Engineer will ensure compliance with all quality and mission assurance related contractual requirements, and sector policies and procedures, while contributing to the program's effective process implementation. Responsibilities: Leading all quality processes for the program (e.g., audits, independent reviews, quality planning, quality documentation, vendors, parts, program corrective action tracking/reporting, program reporting) Quality representation in program baseline management activities (e.g., PCCB, peer reviews, code reviews, release planning, configuration management, CCB, test witnessing) Active participant in Program Management and Agile Execution (e.g., Sprint Planning, Sprint Execution, Sprint Retrospectives, metrics, PMRs, IPRs, plus list above) to include working with Scrum master and program team on making process improvements Generate and report program Quality Metrics (e.g., IPRs, monthly reports) Lead Program Risk & Opportunity Management Board (ROMB) and processes (e.g., monthly risk meetings, monthly risk reporting, PMRs, Risks) Leverage an understanding of Satellite Communication Systems and software quality and mission assurance principles, the discipline to enforce them, and possess strong communication skills and the ability to work closely and effectively with program personnelNGLinkedDS
