Job Description


  • The Lead QA Tester will perform analysis, design and execution of quality assurance tasks in support of department project requirements.

  • Perform API level testing, system testing, black box functional testing, client UI testing, stress, load and white box testing.

  • Apply test methodology, engineering and product knowledge in the design of tests and testing strategies for the analysis and qualification of products.

  • Define and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.

  • Plan and conduct the analysis, inspection, design, test, and/or integration to assure the quality for large and complex projects.

  • Perform quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements.

  • Develop new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities.

  • Communicate significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provide recommended process improvements to management.

  • Actively participate in daily Scrum meetings with the project team.

  • Prepare reports to communicate involvement and results of quality assurance activities.

  • Prepare and present technical and program information to team members and management.

Skills: -

  • Minimum 7+years of Strong QA Analytical and Logical Skills.

  • Strong Data Analysis Skills

  • Strong SQL background

  • Strong VB Scripting

  • Hand on experience with QTP and Automation Testing

  • Assist in the identification of QA tasks and associated level of effort

  • Prepare and execute acceptance testing of new or revised modules -

  • Provide feedback to the development group on usability, functionality and quality of user experience -

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage competing priorities on an ongoing basis.

  • Ability to negotiate priorities and resolve conflict.
