Perficient currently has a career opportunity for a Senior Technical Consultant in our San Francisco office. Travel 30/40 %

 

Job Overview:

As a Senior Technical Consultant you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients. As a member working in a team environment you will take direction from solution architects and Leads on development activities.

 

 

Responsibilities

    1. Minimum 8 years of  experience as an Senior/Lead Developer
    2. Expert level of SQL skill is mandatory. Able to understand and build SQL queries for complex data analysis, profiling and transformations.
    3. Senior level of experience in data development in terms of analyzing, mapping from source and loading into target systems handling complex scenarios.
    4. Experience in understanding, analyzing and implementing relational, star, entity-relationship, multi-dimensional and object oriented database models.
    5. Strong analytical skills with ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate information with the attention to detail and accuracy.
    6. Experience in data profiling and identifying patterns and anomalies and experience with authoring, editing and presenting technical and business documents.
    7. Adaptability to handle and gain knowledge on underdefined/least-defined business requirements and produce valuable outcomes.
    8. Be more autonomous, take complete control of the work in hand and work with necessary people to get what we want to achieve.
    9. Healthcare domain knowledge is nice to have. Knowledge of Federal and State healthcare insurance mandate is nice to have.
    10. Consulting experience is good to have. Ability to go to customer locations and work with business analysts and business SMEs and produce meaningful deliverables.  
    11. Attitude is key. Being flexible and ability to work outside of working hours is much appreciated.
