As the Sr Systems Engineer you will be responsible for overall support of the Bank*s technical infrastructure system and operations. The Sr Systems Engineer will partner with the IT application support teams and information security with identifying, prioritizing, and resolving critical network related issues that may impact business operations.

*Manage all ◦Critical Storage solutions
◦Exchange Email infrastructure
◦Core system backup and restorations, periodically validating the systems* business continuity plans.
◦Virtual VMware based platforms.
◦Enterprise Windows based Active Directory and associated group policies.
◦Windows updates for all servers and workstations.
◦Drive continual improvement in process, people, technology and maintenance of all windows infrastructure for a 247 production environment.
*Serve as an architect resource and be expected to collaborate extensively with other departments in order to design solutions that meet the needs of our business and our customers.
*Provide technical leadership to all aspects of windows operations for physical and virtual environments, including development of standards and practices, engineering, system architecture, design, implementation, and development of junior staff.
*Serve as the primary technical expert in all matters concerning virtualization, storage, enterprise custom applications, and email services.
*Work collaboratively with vendors and specialists on advanced system projects.
*Monitor and report the performance of core servers.
*Evaluate new technologies to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs*Be able to share *on-call duties* with team and assist with advanced technical troubleshooting.
*Maintain technical expertise in all areas of server and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing.
*Perform related duties, as required, for the training and development purposes.
*Performing all assigned duties under Bank*s compliance programs and related laws & regulations.
*Successfully completing all mandatory training on related Bank*s and BSA compliances as well as other laws and regulations as assigned in a timely manner.

Requirements & Qualifications

Expert in:
*Microsoft Windows Server platform (configuration, security, debugging crashes or poor performance, understanding of core operating system constructs such as memory, processor and I/O * disk and network
*Microsoft Active Directory and associated technologies (Group Policy, ADFS, Kerberos, DNS, DHCP
*Microsoft Distributed File System (DFS
*Microsoft File and Print Service

Professional Experience with:
*Scripting (Microsoft PowerShell ideally or VBScript), automation scripts and complex scheduled report
*Microsoft Web Server (IIS) and database technologies (SQL Server)
*Microsoft Clustering (configuration, implementation, monitoring, debugging cluster logs
*Virtualization (VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V)

*Excellent overall knowledge of Microsoft System Center Suite 201
*Working knowledge of NetApp Clustered Data ONTA
*Good knowledge of security and configuration standards
*Able to identify, prioritize and solve complex network-related problems in a complex and dynamic environment
*Deal with pressure and conflict decisively and effectively
*Strong analytical and problem solving skills
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Develop standards and policies for the department according to regulations, Bank policy and best practices
*College degree preferred or 8 years related experience.
*Professional certifications (MCSA, MCSE or other technical certifications)
*Banking and regulatory compliance experience is desirable
*8+ years* experience in progressively advanced IT roles
