Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an experienced System Safety Engineer to lead the Human Lander System Program. This unique opportunity requires a candidate to familiar with technical planning, system integration, and system verification and validation.
Analyses for the program would be performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal to ensure System Safety program requirements are followed.
Specific analyses include functional analyses and corresponding on-orbit hazard analyses. Activities include support of timeline analysis, detail trade studies, safety requirements allocation to required vehicle subsystems and interface definition studies to implement corresponding hazard controls as required from completed analysis.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
