AE Business Solutions, a leading technical solutions provider, is looking for an experienced, hands-on, Storage Administrator to join our growing managed services team.

 

 

The Storage Systems Administrator will be responsible for hands-on technical support of large enterprise customers. Day to day tasks will include the administration of customers enterprise storage, disaster recovery and data protection environments. You will be a trusted advisor by collaborating with our customers and delivering the best possible solutions.

 

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for day to day operations of enterprise storage environments for our Managed Services clients

 

 

Assist with day to day operations of data protection environments as needed

 

 

Responsible for architecture/upgrade/update planning within the customer environments

 

 

Responsible for the development of technical documentation

 

 

Provide on call support as needed for customer environments

 

 

Identify sales opportunities within customer account and provide to the sales team

 

 

Assist with sales team on account strategies to support customer environments

 

 

Build value-added relationships within existing Managed Services accounts to become a trusted technical advisor

 

 

You will put the customer first by helping them find the best course of action for every project

 

 

Requirements:

Operating Systems Platforms (Windows and Unix/Linux)

 

 

Tier 1 storage vendors (Hitachi, IBM, HP, Pure Storage or EMC)

 

 

Virtualization Platforms (VMWare, Microsoft or Citrix)

 

 

Solid understanding of data protection and disaster recovery technologies

 

 

Professional communication skills that include the ability to understand and be understood cross-audience

 

 

Solid organizational and time management skills projects will change and you can adapt

 

 

Ability to work well in a dedicated team environment and confident in your ability to work alone

 

 

Ability to manage and track critical deliverables to successful completion

 

 

You do not require a sponsor for a work visa

 

 

You can work on-site in Madison, WI

 

 

Great if you bring:

 

 

Understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and storage concepts; especially working experience with enterprise data protection solutions such as Commvault Simpana, Symantec NetBackup/Backup Exec, Tivoli TSM, EMC Avimar
