Job Description

Support Contractor Administrator -- Hardware Procurement Specialist – TS/FSP

 

Job Description: 

  • Full Performance Contract Support Administrator (CSA) work entails supporting the preparation contract documentation for government approval for processing a variety of administrative contract activities, and contract settlement actions.
  • Additionally, Full Performance CSA work will include assisting the assigned contract team with various other activities related to the administration and management of contracts

Daily Responsibilities: 

  • Obtains, verifies, and enters Sponsor quote and procurement requests into Prime Contractor corporate procurement systems.
  • Works with Prime Team Mission Partner Liaisons to verify orders and match to master schedule entries.
  • Works with Prime Contractor Corporate Buyers to obtain, track, and enter vendor quotes into the Sponsor system.
  • Checks Sponsor purchase requests for catalog, enterprise license agreement, made to order, project, or commercial items and enters into the Prime Contractor corporate procurement system with the appropriate contract information, due date, and special instructions.
  • Tracks order requests and expedites orders are necessary to meet Sponsor metrics.

Requirements / Education: 

  • Minimum three (3) years of progressively responsible professional Government contracting experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Contract Administration or a closely related field of study; a Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) Certificate if the Bachelor’s degree is not in a related field of study.
  • If no Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Contract Administration or a closely related field of study, a minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible professional Government contracting experience or equivalent work experience in a closely related field, and a Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) Certificate is acceptable.
  • Must have Active Top Secret / FSP
