Top Requirements

-Basic Help Desk Experience (software troubleshooting, desktop & printer troubleshooting, basic network troubleshooting, basic phone provisioning & mgmt)

-Windows/Mac Management (software install & uninstall)

-Great communication & willing to try things & learn in fast-paced environment!

Plus

-Linux

-Prior networking exp (switches, routers, firewalls)

-Broadcasting environment exp

-Video formats, file transfer protocols, & Media Asset Management (MAM) Systems

Soft Skills

-good communication skills (verbal & written when responding to tickets)

-willing to learn & try things! - will be working with engineers & will be exposed to a lot of different technologies (networking, help desk, database, anti-virus, broadcasting, etc.) - great opportunity!

-in 24 hour news room environment so needs to stay calm under pressure

-working on a team of 2-5 other IT support specialists

Job Description & Responsibilities

-M-F:9-5

-on-site work (potential for some remote work at times)

-Managing IT Infrastructure for 24 hour news & local programming - must be able to stay calm & collected under pressure

-True Help Desk Analyst

-Working on ticket system

-Routing tickets to higher level engineering

-New user onboarding

-Old user offboarding

-Routing tickets

-Phone & voicemail provisioning

-Printers & PC failures

-Reimaging of machines to bring them back online

-Some networking & network some work stations

-Opportunity to learn some of the VMWare & several other technologies
