Job Description

 Security Engineer with Symantec Control Compliance Suite (CCS) engineering and support experience. Global deployment and support experience desired

Job Specific Responsibilities
Create views into the operational security of the environment by leveraging CCS dashboards and reports to represent threats and vulnerabilities in the environment.
Test the operating effectiveness of information technology security controls to ensure they are functioning as designed. This may be accomplished by validating consistency across platforms and similar controls and coverage across the enterprise, as well as reviewing key metrics from related management tools.
Continuously monitor for gaps or weakness in the security technology controls in the environment. 
Lead the effort to address exceptions to standards discovered using the tools
Lead role with the global expansion of CCS in the environment to include additional platforms and integration with external data sources.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance of CCS.

Candidate Requirements
Hands-on experience with Symantec CCS Control Compliance Suite
Experience creating user-defined reports (Crystal Reports is a plus)
Experience of network, desktop and server technologies for Windows and Linux platforms, including security and troubleshooting.
Experience performing tests of operating effectiveness of IT security controls
Familiarity with external regulations and frameworks such as PCI.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to understand complex problems while formally presenting them simplistically.
Windows and/or Linux scripting knowledge a plus

Preferred Qualifications
Candidate must be highly ethical and act honorably, honestly, responsibly, and legally.
Candidate must have knowledge and understanding of CCS technologies and methodologies.
Candidate must have a proven track record in implementing data center security and endpoint scanning technologies and methodology.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Candidate must have strong analytical, technical, and problem solving skills.
Candidate must be able to manage time and priorities with multiple tasks and projects.
CISSP is preferred.
