Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
  • Troubleshoot issues and outages
  • Manage network servers and technology tools
  • Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
  • Upgrade systems with new releases and models
  • Identify customer needs and help customers use specific features
  • Update our internal databases with information about technical issues and useful discussions with customers
  • Monitor the health of the entire hosting environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge/Skills/Experience Preferred:

  • 5+ years of related work experience
  • Proven experience of Layer2/Layer3 networks and Firewalls/Load balancers
  • Proven experience of VMware vSphere
  • Proven experience of Storage SANs
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
  • Experience as a Hosting Support Specialist or similar role
  • Experience using help desk software
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Multi-tasking abilities
