Summary: The System Administrator (SA) role is responsible for supporting ongoing operations across all functional areas within the company. The SA will have command of host operating systems, networking, security, scripting, and advanced application support. The SA will be responsible for supporting, monitoring, alert response, and advanced trouble shooting of both infrastructure and application environments. The SA will actively participate in change control, configuration management, and audit tracking of infrastructure and user environments.

1. Participate in On-Call rotation to support 24/7 operations 2. Backup and Recovery Operations 3. Install and support monitoring environments 4. Administer multiple Operating Systems, including Patching and Security updates 5. Respond to internal and external tickets 6. Provides training and mentoring for team members 7. Resolves complex technical issues and accurately communicates technical information to varying skill and comprehension levels. 8. Advanced troubleshooting and configuration server, host, network switches, AD/LDAP, VPN, and other foundational infrastructure environments. 9. Creates documentation, test plans, rollback plans, and uses asset tracking tools for various functions around change control and ongoing operational support. 10. Provides training and mentoring for team members 11. Works collaboratively with members of other departments when needed in order to achieve project goals and provide best practice solutions and develops understanding of other their functional operations and their IT requirements, including R&D, QA, and Test

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.) * Degree in computer science or related field with a focus on technology and/or AS Technology Degree with a minimum of 4 years of recent progressive system administration experience. * Advanced scripting: PowerShell, Bash, KSH, CSH, Perl, and / or Python * Experience with security models and implementations (Firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS) * Experience administering the following system or operating system: Linux / Windows 7 / Windows 8.1 / Windows 10 / Windows Server 2008+/ VMWare / SharePoint / Active Directory / Exchange Server / SCCM / Office365 (preferred) * Travel via air, vehicle or other company determined transportation up to 10% of time (including after normal working hours, weekends and holidays as required) * Preferred: Cloud Operations Experience in MS Azure and O365 * Preferred: RHCE, CCNA, Security +, Network +, or Microsoft Certified professional
