The System Administrator will ensure all systems run smoothly in a fast-paced 24/7 environment. Responsible for Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000 desktop and basic administrative technical support including support of all desktop PC s, cabling and connectivity (network & telecom), printers, email, internal customer service and backups. You will be responsible for the support needs of the enterprise and application/network/telecom deployments. Experience with telecom system cabling is helpful.
Four to six years system administration experience including hardware & networking.
Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field preferred (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
Advanced knowledge of installations, upgrades and troubleshooting of Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange Server and Microsoft Server Virtualization Technologies.
Advanced Knowledge of SonicWall NAS , Cisco Routers and HP ProCurve Switches and WIFI Access Points, Working knowledge of computer security, understanding of vulnerabilities and countermeasures.
Systems Administration/System Engineer certification in Microsoft preferred.
Strong technical aptitude and ability to research & solve complex issues independently.
Ability to effectively communicate issues and resolutions to all levels of the organization
Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive customer and internal information
IT Systems Administrator (SA) will be responsible for administrating the corporate Microsoft Windows Server & Network environment including Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Hyper-V, VMWare, Microsoft SharePoint Services, Microsoft Update & Installation Services, Corporate Applications (PMS, POS, Accounting & HR) and other Microsoft Servers and Services.
SA Role will include assessing operational server needs and apply Microsoft/Windows Server Technologies in designing infrastructure, developing standards, project planning and execution.
