Customer Success Engineer- Washington DC

Job Purpose:  The Customer Success Engineer serves as an extension of the CWPS Service Desk. This position will primarily report onsite to provide hands on technical support for a single client and require rotation between their (3-6) locations within the Washington, DC metro area. The engineer is required to work independently and be able to prioritize their workload.  The ideal candidate will possess a dynamic personality and superior customer service skills. 

 Duties: 

  • Responsible for onsite client support of Windows-based desktop & mobile computers, mobile devices, local and network printers and peripheral devices.
  • Provide customer support and problem resolution
  • Provide customer support and problem resolution 
  • Ensure client connectivity to communication devices including network switches, routers, print servers, remote access services, and cloud services
  • Perform workstation replacements and upgrades for end users
  • Oversee and be the technical resource for third party vendors when they are required 
  • Responsible for client connectivity to essential systems including Windows-based servers and remote access solutions
  • Travel to client’s (3-6) locations around the DC-Metro area 

   Requirements: 

  • Strong consulting and communication skills
  • Confidence and experience in front of clients 
  • Strong ability to work in a team-based environment 
  • Self-start with ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Knowledge of Microsoft server and desktop operating systems
  • Active Directory Management  
  • Maintenance and User Management of Office 365 and later 
  • General understanding of IT protocols including DNS, SMTP
  • Basic TCP/IP Troubleshooting Knowledge 
  • General knowledge of Firewalls including VPN installation, configuration and troubleshooting
  • Installation and troubleshooting of desktop client applications including Microsoft Office Suite, antivirus clients and 3rd party applications
  • Ability to use appropriate tools to identify and remove spy-ware, ad-ware, and viruses
  • Remote troubleshooting using CWPS’s remote access toolset
  • Maintenance of enterprise backup solutions

  Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess: 

  • IT experience working within the Healthcare industry and with Healthcare applications and vendors
  • Preferred certifications include A+, Net+, MCP, MCSA, MCSE, CCNA
  • A thorough understanding of technical design and delivery methodologies
