Windows System Admin
SMCI is seeking talent for a client near downtown Tampa to support System operations for IT teams as a Windows Admin and Operations Support manager for the entire organization. The focus will be to maintain, expand, and support networks, telecommunication equipment, and servers to support the needs of a growing company. Manage the daily operational activities of a team of Service Desk, Desktop Support and System Administrators. Manage support and equipment purchases within a budget while following internal processes for expense management
**Must be local or reside within a commutable distance. **
Designs and plans upgrades to the companys technology infrastructure to support planned growth and increased performance
Supports the companys users and partners to help maintain and improve their satisfaction with the technology infrastructure
Actively coaches and trains employees with the goal of improving their performance and forging an effective team
Basic maintenance of WordPress sites (e.g., installation, updates, basic troubleshooting)
Develops and implements IT-related policies and procedures
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
Experience with network configuration and maintenance in a Windows environment
Experience with Windows server administration
Any Ansible experience is preferred
Experience with and technical understanding of SAN technologies
Self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented
Highly analytical and detail oriented, with strong troubleshooting skills
Flexibility and ability to plan, prioritize and execute multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in writing and verbally to perform management duties and to promote good working relationships.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks under pressure.
Experience working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Bachelors degree in a related field or relevant work experience.
Windows Server Administration
SAN Administration (Nimble Experience a Plus)
Industry Standard IT Certifications (i.e. Microsoft, Cisco, VMWare, Citrix, CISSP, etc.) a Plus
Excellent customer service skills; demonstrates concern and respect for others in all interactions, and inspires confidence and trust.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to comfortably interact at all social levels and with colleagues from various backgrounds and skill levels.
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources required.
Must possess sound judgment; effective organizational, prioritization and follow-through skills; attention to detail; accuracy; dependability; tact; and ability to maintain confidential information.
Ability to prioritize multiple demands. Demonstrates integrity and flexibility and participates actively in change and quality improvement initiatives.
Preferred knowledge for PCI and IT financial audit knowledge
Billing and Purchaing for equipment in the office
