SENIOR SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR (UASOCS-21-1443-F):

Bowhead is accepting applications for a Senior Systems Administrator at Creech Air Force Base in Nevada. Install, configure and troubleshoot computer networks and associated assemblies and assist with technical assistance, help desk and training to system users. Configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, analysis and repair of databases, switches, networks, video systems, and long-haul communications. Must hold a Top Secret SCI Clearance plus Security+ certification required.

• Install, upgrade and administer operating systems and application software in a multi-user client/server environment (including Windows NT).

• Document, analyze and find the root cause for configuration and process changes. Recommend changes as necessary.

• Maintain cross platform inter-connectivity for network services, authentication services, e-mail and web services.

Requirements

• Requires high School diploma or equivalent PLUS ongoing technical training and/or certification specific to hardware/software tools necessary to achieve desired results. Post-secondary education is a plus.

• Requires a minimum of five (5) years' experience.

• Experience with DoD operational Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) solutions is highly desired.

• Must currently hold or achieve prior to start date, a Comp TIA Security+ Certification.

• Requires a solid understanding of network software (Exchange, WorkFlow, etc.). Would include network topology, standards, and protocols. Possess knowledge and hands-on experience administering Windows XP, Vista, and 7 workstations as well as Server 2003 and/or 2008.

• Solid expertise in Microsoft Office Professional software suite required. (Outlook, Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

• Possess a valid state issued driver's license.

• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Top Secret clearance at this location.
