Project Scope:

Our client is looking for a Systems Administrator with the following skills and experience:


  • The Office 365 Engineer will primarily be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining and supporting all components of the Office 365 environment, specifically: Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams.
  • Exhibits technical experience focused on driving adoption of Microsoft Office 365.
  • Possesses a broad knowledge of key end-user scenarios and technical architecture for Office 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint online, OneDrive, Teams and other Office 365 products.
  • This role will assist in the design and implementation of the Office 365 governance and roadmap strategy and serve as an escalation point for trouble tickets.
  • Leads Office 365 projects that include configuration, implementation, and migration to Office 365 capabilities as well as supporting change management requirements
  • Acts as the primary contact for service escalations and issues troubleshooting, providing third-level support
  • Performs and oversees the ongoing administration and account maintenance of the Office 365 tenant.
  • Evaluate Office 365 changes & updates and determine impact on clients
  • Demonstrates knowledge of modern enterprise architectures, identity and authentication services, and security and compliance topics as they pertain to cloud infrastructures.
  • Conducts research, makes evaluations and recommendations, and maintains a high level of expertise in systems software
  • Supports the development of the Office 365 strategy and roadmap deliverables
  • Ability to solve problems quickly, develop workflow and processes for operation teams, and automate processes through writing and maintaining custom PowerShell scripts to remediate any open issues.
  • Analyzes Office 365 service reports, auditing log and third-party service reports.
  • Develops and implements software and configurations to apply appropriate system security mechanisms.


  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Office 365: Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Teams
  • Knowledge and experience troubleshooting these platforms: Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, DNS, SharePoint, OneDrive for Business, SMTP\\Mail Relay, Outlook client configuration and PowerShell
  • In depth understanding of the capabilities of Office 365
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Exchange services, design and topology.
  • Demonstrated experience with Office 365 security single sign-on and multi-factor authentication
  • Microsoft Certifications, such as Office 365 MCSA, MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure or equivalent are a plus
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Cloud technologies, including, Intune, Azure Rights Management, Azure Active Directory
  • Hands on experience with deployment, migration and support of O365 and Azure services.
  • Experience with integration of O365 with 1st party (ATP, AIP, etc) and 3rd party (MFA, SIEM, etc) security stacks.
  • Effective analytical, problem solving, installation and maintenance skills
