KMI is hiring System (Solutions) Architects to support our recently awarded Department of State contract. Under this new award KMI will provide the State Department s Enterprise Infrastructure support to plan, engineer, implement, enhance, maintain and operate the global IT environment. Work will support the agency s Washington, D.C., headquarters and over 350 locations worldwide.
Role and responsibilities
Systems Architect is responsible for proactively contributing to the development and maintenance of infrastructure architectures for the CA IT environment. Responsible for the translation and estimation of architectural directions into support requirements. Applies technical knowledge to assist in the design and development of solutions to complex technical engineering and applications problems, network challenges, or system administration issues. Establishes the basic structure of the system, defines essential core design features and elements that provide the framework. Incorporates engineering strategies for introducing new technology into the customer's infrastructure related to its business processes of collection, analysis, production, and dissemination.
