Job Description

Our direct client is a financial Managed Service Provider (MSP), offering infrastructure services to the top hedge funds in the local area and internationally. Their Service Desk is truly a top-notch organization of high-level engineers with well-rounded infrastructure skills, who offer some of the highest-quality service in the industry. We currently resolve over 85% of all incoming calls upon first contact, without escalation. Help us push this number even higher!

POSITION:

  • Provide phone and email-based technical support from our location in midtown.
  • Work closely with higher-level engineers for escalations and project work.
  • Support a wide range of technical domains, including desktop, server, mobile devices, and network issues.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Windows Server and Desktop
  • Server upgrades, migrations, Physical-to-virtual conversions
  • Active Directory
  • Exchange
  • Outlook
  • Mobile devices and Mobile device Management tools (AirWatch, Mobile Iron, Good)
  • System Monitoring tools
  • Cisco networking gear
  • RSA tokens
  • Imaging creation and deployment of desktop images
  • Market data feeds and Excel integration/addins

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • 8+ years supporting a variety of infrastructure, including desktop, server/systems, Networking, and telephony.
  • Flexible, can-do attitude
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to keep cool with demanding users
  • Experience in a small organization with good exposure to varied technology
  • MSP or financial experience is helpful but not required

Workweek:

  • Hours are 9 to 5, with one weekend day required (Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Thursday)
