Description: Develops, designs, plans, implements, tests, automates, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems. Participates in coordination and guidance in preparation of technical appraisals of custom code and related systems, computational software and related technology, and the integration of products into the overall functions of scientific computation, data acquisition, transmission, and processing. Supports synthesis of customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Participates in establishment of functional and technical specifications and standards, solutions and troubleshooting for hardware/software interface problems, definition of input/output parameters, and ensuring integration of the entire system and/or subsystem. Leverages fundamental Information Technology/Development knowledge in areas such as of virtual machines, Microsoft SQL Server, C# and HTML to support testing and the support development of test automation software/code to verify system functionality. Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements and acceptance criteria for testability, develops preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. Supports reviews of software design, change specifications, and plans against contractual and/or process requirements. Engages in subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations. Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance. Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems, as well as and ensures corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards. Participates in phases of the installation and checkout of software changes and hardware component changes to a large, complex information system. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Applicant must hold an active Security+ CE Certification prior to start.
