The Intelligence group provides high-end systems engineering and integration products and services, data analytics and software development to national and military intelligence customers. Our team is responsible for overseeing the acquisition-level closure of requirements; overseeing system level readiness events in support of enterprise, system and acquisition-level milestones; leading and supporting project planning; assessing schedule and risk; maintaining the document configuration management baseline; providing technical support for the planning and execution of enterprise and system-level verification, validation and transition activities; generating and presenting engineering briefings; and interfacing with numerous customers. Additionally, Perspecta is responsible for configuring, operating, and maintaining the customer's Systems Engineering business process tools.

The Integrated Master Scheduler is responsible for developing enhancements to, and conducting the Schedule Management Process for Milestone/Activity Level 0 and 1 and any schedule milestone elevated to the System and Enterprise level. This area of the contract is responsible for managing/supporting roughly 60-70 projects operating within 6-8 programs concurrently. Our objective is to manage similarly structured Master Schedules for each Program, fully integrating the dependencies of each Project. We monitor performance against this schedule to ensure that schedule objectives are met in accordance with Program/Contract constraints and in support of mission imperatives. The Master Scheduler will lead performance of schedule analysis to identify risks as well as providing mitigation recommendations. The Master Scheduler will be fully integrated with, and work directly with Program Teams and Project Managers and support SETA and SI daily, but will report to the Senior Engineer and Technical Director at the Enterprise level.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Refining/developing integrated schedule processes, rhythms and policies.
  • Compiling, updating, and delivering the Integrated Master Schedule with integrated milestones and linked dependencies.
  • Act as Subject Matter Experts in scheduling and be able to propose process improvements that will benefit integrating schedules
  • Strong communication skills to reach and develop a cross organization network to help to gather requested data for each schedule product
  • Gather and consolidate schedule data from staff meetings, engineering boards, readiness events, engineering artifacts, and board approved Request for Change (RFC) documentation, etc.
  • Assess impacts of new info against planned and baseline dates, calculate critical path, calculate slack & margin, and identify risks/issues/opportunities.
  • Format Microsoft Project documentation in presentable form to include call out boxes, graphics etc. in support of product delivery milestones.
  • Operate the Enterprise Schedule Server Tool (currently MS Project), input data, produce reports, and generate schedule artifacts
  • Mentoring and training new team members in the use of Schedule tools/Processes and the implementation of quality standards.
  • Perform critical path analysis to help develop mitigation plans of schedule change impacts and associated risks.
  • Develop new process metrics for process improvement that help determine how well the overall process is working


Required Qualifications:
  • Requires 10 to 12 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with PhD.
  • Must have an active TS/SCI and an active poly, and be able to successfully crossover with the supported client
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Tools
  • Significant experience configuring and using Microsoft Project to manage multiple, concurrent Programs.
  • Strong System Engineering or Systems Integration experience
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with senior government customers, keep all stakeholders informed, prioritize tasks, and vet priorities
  • Working knowledge of, and demonstrated experience with change management processes (e.g., RFC process)
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Good customer teaming skills; ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams
  • Strong interpersonal, problem solving, organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Responsible and reliable; follow up on actions and the ability to multi task
  • Experience with classified government development programs and the Program Management Framework (PMF) ™
Desired Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera and other scheduling tools
  • Experience with core Systems Engineering Disciplines (Requirements, Schedule, Risk, Readiness, System Closure, VV&T, etc.)
  • Familiarity with the Intelligence Community, and associated government agencies
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, and ability to lead technical forums
