As a Systems Mgt Analyst/SAS Admin, you will work across multiple lines of business to evolve our capabilities and design solutions that help the enterprise achieve its strategic goals. You will be accountable for leading and collaborating across functional teams for acceptance and alignment with overall enterprise business strategies and technology initiatives.

Perform SAS administration activities. Includes administration of SAS in on wintel and Unix environments. Implement upgrades, modifications, etc.
Support users regarding SAS related errors/issues, module usage, metadata/SMC, and Enterprise Guide challenges.
Oversee administrative connections to external sources (odbc/sqlserver, DB2, Oracle, Teradata, etc.)
Proficiency/experience in system administration for *nix (aix, rhel) and windows servers.
Help develop and implement strategic plan for department technical environment
Preferred : knowledge of UHG IT environment (ServiceNow, ESC, Secure, etc.)
Monitor and operate computer and peripheral equipment: review, analyze, and modify programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing for large-scale computer systems
Evaluate system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility
Provide expertise in software systems programming, operating software applications, consulting on complex projects/existing applications, timely completion of scheduled jobs, and overall operating systems. Also includes overseeing environments, health and facilitation of high severity incidents to improve the state of service availability and continuity
Develop processes and activities that focus on restoring service after an incident occurs
Document all hardware, application, facility, etc. problems and take corrective action as required
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
2+ years of SAS administration experience
2+ years of experience in a Unix environment working with tools/utilities on a Unix platform
Unix Administration experience
Windows Administration or platform experience
Healthcare industry experience
Ability to collaboratively work with internal department customers and IT
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences effectively
