Job Description

Position Description: CGI is looking for an experienced Systems Support Analyst with minimum 3 years experience and exposure to Supply Chain Management principles, with good written & oral communication skills; and experience working with business users in addressing system issues. This right person for this role will be responsible for ongoing support and maintenance of a suite of applications (JDA, Oracle Fusion) related to Supply Chain Business functionality. This will be a great opportunity to the right candidate providing member exposure to working of a Global Supply Chain organization in a collaborative environment with team member's spread across the globe. Your future duties and responsibilities: * Ensure availability of application for end users consistent with Service Level Agreements. * Provide Support for restoration of service; investigate cause of problems, quick response on problem calls and fixes. * Respond to inquiries from Business Users for assistance in diagnosing Production System operations, data. * Be able to make ongoing recommendation for operational improvements of production applications. * Serve as On-call support person as part of rotation within an application support team. * On-call support duties will cover regular business hours, nights and weekends on a schedule basis. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Previous Application Support and Development experience in Supply Chain Management environment will go a long way in making the candidate successful in the support role. Good communications skills is a must, as this role involves working with business users; managing expectations. Skills OS Platform AIX, Windows- 3 years Scheduling: Maestro Scheduler - 3 years Scripting: Perl, Korn Shell, Windows Batch Scripts, PL/SQL, SQL - 3 years Database: Oracle 11g, Microsoft SQLServer 2008 - 3 years DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/NON-ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED Exposure to mainframe technologies (IDMS COBOL, ADSO, JCL, MVS) Exposure to JDA Database: SQL Server 2008 PL/SQL, Java, Java (Applets), weblogic, iplannet Web Server Apache Web Server Should be able to take help and debug.
