Overview:




CSRA has an opportunity for a Systems Technician / Associate Systems Administrator to work onsite with a vibrant team of fellow technical associates providing Windows 7 and Windows 10 Desktop Patching Support. This is an excellent opportunity for growth as the candidate will also be asked to fulfill other O&M Responsibilities in this Windows Based network, including; Microsoft Windows Server 2008, 2012, VMware Virtualization, Symantec NetBackup.. The successful candidate will test and deploy software updates and patches for Windows 7 and Windows 10 Workstations using Microsoft SCCM and IBM Bigfix Solutions.

Responsibilities:




Daily Responsibilities• Test and Deploy software updates/patches for Win 7 / Win 10 Workstations

• Research and Troubleshoot Software Compatibility Issues

• Implement, document, and coordinate Workstation Image Updates

• Follow assigned procedures and maintain system standards

• Creates User Accounts

• Restore files from backup systems

• Monitor hardware health and place service calls when problems arise

• Monitors system logs and reports/repairs incidents

• Ability to produce technical documentation

Qualifications:




Required Skills

• High School Diploma or GED

• 3 years of relevant experience in Tier II or Tier III Computer Support

• Expert understanding of Windows 7 / Windows 10 Systems

• Expert understanding of Microsoft Office 2013 & standard desktop software

• Basic understanding of File Permissions & Account Creation

• Workstation Image Updates, Imaging, and Maintenance

• Excellent troubleshooting skills

• Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills

• Ability to work independently in a fast paced, multi-faceted IT environment.

• Ability to work in a team environment to support internal and external customers

• Ability to multi-task working on several projects simultaneously


Desired or Added Value Skills

• ITIL Foundations, V3

• Microsoft MCSA or Relevant MCPs

• A+, Network+, Security+

• Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) Experience

• Microsoft PowerShell Scripting
