Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Provides comprehensive technical writing support to assist Program lead to maintain all Project Management related documentation
  • Experience writing and editing Project Management Plan, Configuration Management Plan, Quality Plan, Requirements Management Plan, Change Control Plan, Risk Register....
  • Gather, analyze, translate, and compose technical information into clear readable documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Create and maintain various project artifacts and end user documentation including design documents, user guides, style guides, publishing standards, etc.
  • Create and edit Meeting minutes, MSR, Release documents
  • Support the development, review, and editing of new or existing documentation or artifacts for final delivery, publication, or dissemination.
  • Responsible for coordinating the display of graphics and the production of the document
  • Conceptualize, write, and review compelling documents while maintaining compliance with technical requirements, including past performance documentation, capabilities descriptions, and management and project plans
  • Conceptualize at a high level; review and integrate visually appealing, informative technical graphics and illustrations
  • Evaluate technical sections text, layout, graphics, etc. for storytelling quality, consistency, coherence, clarity, and compliance with technical requirements and for alignment with solutions and themes

 

Requirements:

  • BS in Communications, Journalism, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent preferred
  • At least 6 – 8 years of experience in technical writing of software documentation preferred
  • 2+ years of experience working with software application development teams and preferred
  • Experience with proposal writing for federal contracts is preferred
  • Solid computer skills in MS Office, Acrobat, Visio and others
  • Strong interpersonal communication, writing, and organization skills
  • Strong ability to summarize data concisely, Story telling quality, consistency, coherence, clarity and compliance
  • Ability to work with limited supervision and high motivation
  • Ability to work well under pressure, meeting multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines
  • Proven experience with the Software Development Life Cycle's (SDLC)
  • Proven experience with the Documentation Development Life Cycle (DDLC)
  • 100% Remote position
