A unique opportunity to work for a firm that is a leading provider of commercial software solutions for state-of-the-art programs designed for large, long-lived applications where safety, security, and reliability are critical. The title is a Technical Account Manager and at its New York office.

For someone very innovative with a background in embedded software (university or professional experiences) with a desire to learn new languages and manage clients while learning different very technical applications and development languages. A growth role with an opportunity to work within many types of business verticals in a very deep way.

As a member of the Commercial team, the role is to create and nurture intimacy with prospects and customers, facilitate the closing of deals from a technical standpoint, and act as a bridge between the Commercial and Product Engineering teams.

Deeply eager to understand the project management and engineering requirements of the major accounts you are assigned to, you are able give technical presentations and updates to prospects and customers, either on site or remotely, actively promoting new products and technologies.

Hand-in-hand with the Product Engineering team, you are responsible for the technical side of proposals and organizing the involvement of engineers in sales activities such training and consulting sessions, technical visits, and webinars. In addition, you provide feedback from the field on how to better position the products. You effectively support marketing activities by contributing to the various collaterals such as product sheets, conference presentations, and technology demonstrations and act as a technology evangelist.

With a strong background in Computer Science and previous experience in software development (preferably in the safety-critical and/or embedded systems areas), you are also very curious and like problem-solving. Your ability to listen joins with your ability to convey enthusiasm as well as good speaking and presentation skills.
