Client is looking for a Technical Program Manager to join their internal Finance Transformation team. The
transformation team is responsible for leading a number of change initiatives across the organization, including a
number of upgrades and new implementations of Financial Technology.
This is a fantastic opportunity to have all the benefits of a consulting role - project heavy, engagement with senior
stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a background and prior experience of executing finance transformation
programs. Experience with compliance, SOC, tax audit etc.

Project managers are masters at managing multiple projects at the same time and you are equally comfortable in a
roomful of executives as you are with hashing out complex technical project details
Responsibilities/Required experience
Finance Transformation Specific Responsibilities:
• Manage important complex, transformation projects with regard to scope, schedule, resources and budget.
Offer program management services (project analysis, execution, delivery) for financial business applications, ensure
that investments and programs in project management services align with organizational and department strategy
and priorities. Establish project scope, goals and deliverables that support goals in collaboration with senior
management and partners, develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents, Manage
project considerations and critical path, plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
• Help partners modernize their finance functions by consulting with internal and external teams to
understand strategy and goals, create strategies and blueprints that use machine learning to improve operations and
refine processes (procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, record-to-report).Walk clients through digital transformations and
help them find operational efficiencies. Execute projects based on changing needs, resource capacity constraints,
risk exposure, and interdependencies , establish and monitor IT PMO value metrics to make informed decisions that
maximize returns across enterprise programs ,engage with business leaders to objectively analyze our ability to
absorb change and adopt project and programs post-deployment ,ensure rapid, predictable, transparent delivery of
high-quality solutions/projects.
• Responsibilities include developing and managing the execution of a cutover plan and integration testing,
UAT, cutover and post-go-live activities, gathering and analyzing business and functional requirements, making or
influencing key decisions and presenting status to Senior Leadership.Help lead working sessions with operations
leads to address the root causes and prioritize initiatives based on value and complexity drivers. Manage financial
and operational objectives and KPIs to translate business requirements for P2P, O2C, R2R and RPA projects
• Maintain Project Management documentation (e.g., project plans, status reports, testing statistics, change
management log, schedule and lead project meetings, provide weekly status reporting and identify and
communicate risks as they arise. Manage interdependencies and associated timing within projects with crossfunctional teams. Engage stakeholders as required to support successful project delivery, obtain feedback, etc.
Partner with the Change Management leader on training and communications activities.Organize and lead User
Acceptance Testing for the upgrades and medium initiatives. Managing transition while eliminating and
standardizing manual processes, stay on top of current regulations, trends, and technologies influencing digital
finance, analytics, and the CFO ecosystem
• Structure, kick-off, and run time-bound projects within and beyond the Finance Business organization by
clarifying priorities, driving the execution of deliverables, defining project process flows, providing clear and effective
• Manage requirements documentation, milestone mapping, prioritization, and communication to facilitate
project collaboration
• Take a hands-on and proactive approach to unblock progress and introduce efficiencies with the ability to
employ both a strategic focus, as well as a tactical approach while keeping the big picture in mind. Anticipate and
mitigate risks
• Build and maintain alignment across multiple teams for keeping a focus on execution, continuous
improvement, and operational excellence
• Monitor project status and rapidly identify issues / risks. Succinctly communicate issues to relevant
stakeholders and proactively collaborate to ensure timely resolution
• Provide clear and crisp transparency to the status and progress of initiatives at all levels of the organization
including leading Steer Co’s with key stakeholders
• 8+ years of program or project management experience
• Expert in financial management and organizational change management
• The ability set direction and approach, resolve conflict, communicate tough messages with grace
• Experience managing application projects on SaaS platforms such as Oracle Cloud, or Workday
• Experience leading integrated teams from multiple organizations across multiple sites
• Promote creative ideas and accept the risks that are required to lead change
• Competent in project management, governance formulation, and team management
• Working knowledge of risk management, standards, and policy formulation
• Experience in project/portfolio resource planning, reporting, prioritization, and budgeting
• Experience with project management tools (Smartsheets is a plus)
• Bachelor’s degree required Master’s degree preferred
• PMP/PMI certification preferred
• Lean Agile principles experience to help establish an Agile delivery team
