Modis has an exciting new direct hire position with a client in Gallatin, TN. This technical support analyst position is the perfect entry-level opportunity for a recent graduate to gain extensive training and knowledge from a client with a presence in multiple locations across the US. The position will also play a vital role as the client is migrating to the newest version of Office 365. One to two years of experience in IT is preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities: -Will perform help desk duties (phone, chat, screen-sharing), supporting sites around the U.S.
-Some network support exposure and understanding of LAN, WAN, VPN, TCP/IP, and other networking fundamentals
-Some server support exposure to servers would be a plus
-Exposure to Office 365 would be a plus as they re currently migrating
REQUIRED: -One to two years of solid IT/help desk experience
-A minimum of an Associate s degree, preferably a Bachelor s degree in a related field.
-Some on-call needed, but likely will only happen during a scheduled update and could potentially be pushed from home.
-Some travel, though it would be seldom.
