Job Description

Piper Companies is looking for a Technical Support Engineer for a leading healthcare product organization located in Durham, NC.

Responsibilities for the Technical Support Engineer:
  • Assist end users with troubleshooting proprietary automation systems
  • Provide remote hardware and software support with a focus on customer service

Qualifications for the Technical Support Engineer:
  • 2+ years as a Technical Support Specialist/Helpdesk Technician
  • Experience with Windows OS (Win7, WinXP, Win10)
  • Experience with hardware - printers, phones, motherboards, PCs
  • Knowledge of firewalls, security, IP addresses, etc
  • 1 or more of the following certifications required: Network+, Security+, A+
  • Hours are 8-5 (for 6 months) - need to be willing to work between the hours of 8 AM - 11 PM, 7 Days a week (on a rotating on-call schedule)

Compensation/Benefits for the Technical Support Engineer:
  • $42,000 - $52,000 (paid hourly)
