Job Description

Position Summary:
Maintain a portfolio of one or more hardware and/or software technologies, products, and/or processes including standards of use, life cycles, and/or product evaluation and integration.
Develop and maintain an in-depth pool of technical advice and expertise to provide information and guidance of the infrastructure assigned.
Specifically, this Analysts technology portfolio focuses on web and application servers, including Microsoft IIS, Red Hat JBoss Web Server, Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP), and IBM WebSphere Application Server.

Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree, OR 4 ADDED years of job related work experience, OR 2 ADDED years of job related experience plus an associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree

Required Work Experience:
4 years of specific knowledge of the technology(s), product(s), and/or processes to be supported.
Technologies requiring this specific knowledge include Microsoft IIS (multiple versions), and its deep integration with Microsoft Windows Server (multiple versions).
1 year directly supporting the technology(s), product(s), and/or processes. (may be concurrent)
Technologies requiring this direct support include Red Hat JBoss Web Server and Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP).
1-year experience development using PowerShell
1-year experience performing web development
1-year experience managing security configurations for your technology, including ARS and NIST controls, and guidance by appropriate STIGs

Preferred Work Experience:
Experience with software distribution practices at an enterprise level
Experience with lifecycle of services at an enterprise level
1 year directly supporting the following:
IBM WebSphere Application Server
Microsoft Message Analyzer
Microsoft Message Queue
Experience deploying technologies utilizing IBM BigFix
Experience in non-Windows operating systems, such as various flavors of UNIX or Linux

Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Tech/Systems, or other job related field, OR Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Tech/Systems or other job related degree PLUS 2 years job-related work exp. OR: 6 Years 4 years of job related work experience: 8 Years
Specific knowledge of Microsoft technologies, products, processes: 4 Years
MS Internet Information Server (IIS) is a critical requirement, including its deep integration with Microsoft Windows Server (multiple versions): 4 Years
Hands on exp with balancing security/compliance with customization of OS, apps and browser technologies
Knowledge of a variety of information technology products and solutions
Microsoft deployment toolkit (MDT), GPO administration, SCCM and/or BigFix: 1 Years
Scripting skills in PowerShell, VBScript or other languages used in OS automation: 4 Years
Knowledge and support for Red Hat JBoss Web Server and/or Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP): 1 Years
Experience performing web development: 1 Years
Experience managing security configurations for your technology, including ARS and NIST controls, and guidance by appropriate STIGs
