RSM is one of the largest technology consulting and managed service providers in the US. The firm currently has an opening for an Infrastructure and Managed Services Market Leader. The right candidate will collaborate with other RSM practices and team members to expand our client base and capabilities around professional services and managed services for SMB and mid-market companies in the markets we serve.
This is a customer facing position providing IT advisory services, managing projects, participate in sales and marketing efforts and mentor/coach staff ? in addition to having personal charge hour and market financial performance goals. It is important that the candidate have worked in a leadership position for a consulting firm with both managed and professional services practices.
? Oversee profitability, recruiting, and service delivery for your team
? Work with sales and marketing to build lead generation strategies that lead to recurring revenue and ?crown jewel? clients.
? Establish local channel relationships with key technology partners and vendors.
? Lead assessments and roadmaps for customers, including "Go to Cloud" strategies.
? Design customer solutions in the areas of unified communications, security and threat protection, datacenter, Cloud, and business continuity.
? Act as an escalation point for major customer impacting issues
? Research and present to customers on merits of proposed solutions, including in-depth understanding of pros/cons.
? Work closely with project teams to lead the engagement lifecycle, including project scoping, statements of work, project plans, and service delivery updates.
? Review, write, and approve SOPs
? Participate in firm thought leadership including networking, blogging, and speaking events

? Microsoft Cloud (Office 365, Azure, EM+S)
? Datacenter, hyperconvergence, hybrid solutions
? Security and compliance
? Business continuity
? Unified communications
? Easily communicate with technical and non-technical audience.
? Experience and personality to diffuse difficult customer situations.
? Extensive knowledge of Visio and PowerPoint to create professional presentations.
? Ability to function independently, prioritize and act as a mentor to junior staff
? Ability and desire to work evenings and nights
? 12+ years? experience
? College degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Electrical Engineering is preferred
