DXC Technology has an immediate need in our US Public Sector group for a Telecommunications Specialist with an active Top Secret/SCI, FS POLY to be considered for this role

 


JOB DESCRIPTION:



  • Information Technology environments to help DXC deliver and manage IT solutions as a member of the Strategy, Practice and Alliance Team.

  • Candidates must understand the specific goals and needs of the business, function, or geography and represents those needs to the IT organization to help develop and maintain relationships with appropriate members of the business/function/geography organization. 

  • Candidates will work to align business, function, and geography requirements with IT plans and priorities to identify IT project requirements, gather feedback, and finalize scope. 

  • Candidate will identify opportunities for IT to leverage solutions and establish effective processes for managing the relationship on an ongoing basis. 

  • Candidates will communicate IT standards and new IT solutions, processes, and policies to the businesses, functions, and geographies and connect “customers” with appropriate IT technical resources when technical discussions are necessary.



 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Provide cross functional telecommunications, networking, communications, LAN/WAN administration, specialized hardware and software connectivity 

  • Provide Architecture, Concept and Strategy Consulting Support 

  • Provide Advanced Development Environment Concept and Process Definition 


 

 


QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRED EXPERIENCE



  • Qualifications for current openings in our Federal (US Public Sector division) vary upon the position.

  • US Citizenship

  • Strong ethics and professionalism

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Technology consulting experience 

  • Prior federal & government industry experience




EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION / KNOWLEDGE


  • 8+ years of professional experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study

  • Without a degree, three additional years of relevant professional experience (11+ years in total).
