Job Description

CONTINGENT ON CONTRACT AWARD
Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is searching for a TS/SCI
Test Engineer that can integrate tightly into a Government team where the individual staff members are all expert in their subject areas. This position requires a Test Engineer who can quickly adapt to rapidly changing priorities, identify and help develop integration between various efforts; and are experienced in working with stakeholders to gather clear, concise requirements, and can provide tactical and strategic analysis of changes to be considered on activity prioritization and impact on other Government work priorities.

The est Engineer, closely integrated with the Government counterparts, will provide Software Testing expertise and support for the project tasks, including research, analyses, and prototype development.

This work is expected to be accomplished from a Springfield, VA Government location with potential infrequent local travel.

MUST HAVE:

* Experience in the application of various testing methods and tools.
* Experience with the Microsoft suite of Office products, as well as Team Foundation Server (TFS) or Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS).
* Experience in testing multi-tiered applications.
* Experience with SQL, including the ability to write, modify, and execute SQL queries to support the test process and test data validation.
* Comfortable with working in both Windows client-server and Web-based development in separate QA and production environments.
* Experience converting existing manual test cases into automated test sequences.
* Ability to work independently on multiple projects with general direction from team Leads.
* Demonstrated ability to successfully handle multiple demands and short deadlines; experience in resolving conflicts and dealing with shifting priorities.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent organization, communication, and team collaboration skills.
* Understanding of the SDLC and ITIL processes as they pertain to testing.
* Ability to read and execute test plans based on product/feature specifications.
* Ability to study product specifications, maintain existing test guidelines, and create innovative testing methods and test cases.
* 3+ years of software testing.

Required Education - BA or BS in Computer Science or related fields (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering)

Desired Education - Master's degree in Computer Science or related fields (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, or Engineering)

Required Certification - COMPTIA Security+ certification or CISSP certification
