Job Description

Test Lead

Charlotte, NC

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Development team/Business project lead/Production Support teams to understand project requirements and coordinate testing.
  • Review BRDs, Fspecs, and Tspecs and convert into testable scenarios.
  • Solid hands on experience both writing and executing SQL queries.
  • Represent testing on assigned projects within agile teams.
  • Responsible for creating Test Strategy document(s), Test Plan(s), Testing Tracker(s), Test Execution Status Reports, and Defect Reports
  • Coordinate process team input into testing deliverables
  • Manage day to day activity of testers and test leads
  • Set guidelines for the test scripts to be written by the team
  • Responsible for the coordination, documentation, and execution of test scripts / agile stories.
  • Coordinate prioritization of test scripts and defects.
  • Ensure testing is on schedule and escalate any issues/concerns.
  • Ensure QC is updated for test execution and defects
  • Provide QC training to business team (as needed)
  • Ensure defects are assigned and being worked.
  • Report test status to leadership and all stakeholders.

 

Required skills for the job:

  • Hands on experience in QC
  • Hands on experience in writing and executing SQL queries
  • At least 5 years of experience in testing
  • Understand and use various test design techniques
  • E2E Test Lead experience
  • Agile experience

 

Desired skills for the job:

  • Experience in agile and waterfall methodologies
  • Hands on experience in writing and executing SQL queries
  • Hands on experience in Finance domain/SAP
  • Experience in ECC , BW would be an added advantage
  • Hands on experience in developing excel macros
