Job Description

Training Developer/Instructional Designer

 

Tucker-Rose is seeking a Training Developer/Instructional Designer in the DMV area to help support the development and delivery of Federal financial management and accounting training. This will include coordinating training logistics, programming and testing course materials for Section 508 compliance, developing instructor-led or virtual instructor led training as needed, as well as other general training program support as needed. 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Organizes course content to produce curriculum that meets learning needs of the business.
  • Develops and manages timelines and milestones.
  • Collaborates with internal business partners to validate that curriculum solutions align to business priorities and strategy for operational effectiveness.
  • Completes peer to peer reviews to ensure consistency, quality, and appropriate use of course content guidelines.
  • Develops tools and processes to measure effectiveness of curriculum solutions and learner performance to ensure solutions meet employee skill development requirements.
  • Engages third party vendor relationships to provide learning solutions to specific communities.
  • Assembles key participants & guides and facilitates cross functional teams in the strategy development and implementation of business solutions.
  • Acquires and applies advanced knowledge of the business, its products and processes.

 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific /technical discipline.
  • 10 years work experience
  • 2 years of additional work experience can be substituted for 1 year of college
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Experience in instructional design/training development in a blended learning environment.
  • Experience in Section 508 compliance
  • Experience in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Experience Developing CBTs
