Job Description:


Our enterprise client is seeking a-UX Lead with proven success delivering user experience design solutions as a member of an Agile Scrum team.- You will be the face of the Design-team, representing and advocating for the best customer experience through requirements elicitation, user story development, ideation, refinement, and the ultimate delivery of design assets for the banking experience across all devices. Required background must include one or more of the following practical disciplines: Interaction Design, Content Strategy and Copywriting, Visual Design, or Producing in a cross-functional design team.



Proven success in partnering with cross-discipline partners in a highly matrixed environment is key, and includes: product management, project management (scrum masters), business analyses, development, architecture, and QA.-You will also partner closely with the rest of the DXD team as a subject matter expert to support broader design engagements. These solutions will be integral inputs to the Scrum team you lead, delivered as user stories.

Responsibilities include:


  • Collaborating with the -Design Team (Designers, Content Strategists, and Researchers) on multi-device experiences in one or more of the following areas: online and mobile banking, payments, financial education, product information, tools, and applications in an Agile framework
  • Representing Design throughout the implementation process and working with the broader Scrum team to understand business goals and create design solutions for customer needs
  • Partnering with product managers, scrum masters, developers, business analysts, and legal/compliance managing expectations regarding Design delivery
  • Estimating scope and sizing and handling escalations
  • Create and manage a delivery schedule to make sure-deliverables are done sprint(s) ahead of development
  • Speak to the details of the design deliverables and user stories, answering questions and resolving ambiguities
  • Communicating between the scrum team and the larger Design-team
As Design-UX Lead, you may also:


  • -Present the entire experience to large groups or senior leaders
  • Moderate working sessions
  • Advocate for change that enhances customer experience and improves process






Minimum Qualifications:





  • 2+ years- experience working in an enterprise Agile environment
  • Solid project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects in a cross-functional environment to include project planning, scoping, sizing and ongoing project cost tracking and reporting
  • 5+ years- experience leading Interaction Designers, Visual Designers, and Content Strategists to produce digital customer experiences
  • 3+ years of agency, internal design team, or consulting experience with F100 companies
  • Proven track record for managing complex creative design efforts in a mature User Experience Design environment with demonstrated experience with user centered design methodology
  • Proven experience successfully managing a geographically remote team
  • Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, facilitation, presentation, planning and engagement management skills
  • Ability to act, partner and influence at varying levels within the organization; build long term relationships with diverse sets of partners.-
Software Expertise:-


  • Agile delivery tools (including JIRA and Confluence)
  • Microsoft office suite (including MS Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Working knowledge of design software including Invision, iRise, Sketch, Photoshop
  • Preferred:
  • -BA, BS, or MA in communications, human factors, information sciences or graphic/visual arts
  • Certifications in Agile, UX or other design methodologies
  • Scrum master experience
  • Banking or financial services background or working in a highly regulated industry
  • Experience managing vendor delivery including contract negotiation, scoping, writing creative briefs, and problem resolution

  • Have experience working in a medium to enterprise-level Agile environment and can adapt to our client's Agile methodology
  • Are able use your diplomacy to influence decisions and facilitate conversations between technical teams and Design to ensure design feasibility
  • Have an understanding of the user-centered design process including personas, task analysis, task flows, content audits, content strategies, and user testing
  • Have the ability to produce common UX deliverables including: Wireframes, Visual Design Specifications, and Copy Decks
