Incorporate industry best practices to deliver strong interactive designs in a moderately complex environment
Collaborate with UX strategists and researchers, project managers, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to prioritize UX activities throughout the software development life-cycle and deliver high-quality experiences
Assist service & product teams understand and incorporate technical, business, and user requirements into designs
Drive the interaction design process from concept through final implementation.
Work with UX Researcher to plan qualitative research activities such stakeholder interviews, user interviews and moderated usability testing as needed
Create design artifacts including personas, journey maps, scenarios and storyboards to capture and communicate user behaviors, motivations and goals
Facilitate project teams through the design process, gathering actionable feedback and iterating the appropriate level of changes
Act as a user advocate and participates in UX discussions with business partners on topics including interaction design, information architecture, and user research
Advocates for the end user by influencing decisions to ensure that product and design decisions are aligned with user needs and expectations
Model interactions through process diagrams, task flows and interaction diagrams as needed
Create sketches, wireframes and working prototypes as needed to articulate design direction
Present concepts and ideas to partners and development teams to clarify design concepts & advocate for the user experience
The User Experience (UX) Designer will be part of a newly transformed End User Services organization.
This role will report to the UX Manager who is part of the User Experience, Technology Adoption and Communications team.
The UX Designer will serve as a change agent and end user advocate who will partner with the UX Strategist to translate user insights into experiences that improve the productivity, collaboration and satisfaction of the Clients System workforce
Excellent UX portfolio showing process and outcomes
5-10 years of work experience in a similar role
Clear UX design process
Experience conducting user research studies and synthesizing results
Ability to sketch and explore alternative solutions quickly
Familiarity with usability heuristics and best practices
Good working knowledge of core interface and interaction design principles (typography, grids, hierarchy, mobile first, responsive, patterns, platform conventions, accessibility standards and so on)
Ability to create intuitive and engaging user flows
Solid experience with a variety of design and prototyping tools such as Axure, Sketch or Invision.
Ability to prioritize your workload and perform effectively to tight deadlines
Ability to communicate your ideas clearly and confidently to peers, partners & customers
Comfortable receiving constructive feedback
