Position: UX designer
Location: Bellevue, Washington/Remote during COVID
Duration: 6+ Months
The Sr. User Experience Designer designs innovative and engaging digital products. Responsible for performing user-centered design activities related to products and/or web applications. The role will work with product and development teams to understand their design requirements and develop creative solutions for meeting those needs.
- 4-7 years experience in a UX-related role.
- Experience in an enterprise UX role
Primary resume requirements:
Must have enterprise UX experience (either FTE or contractor)
Must meet the 4+ years of UX experience
Must have experience in a transactional UX Designer role
Leads creation and evolution of design principles, guidelines and patterns.
Establishes, evolves and evangelizes design strategy across the company.
Communicates best practices for design and reasoning behind UX decisions to key stakeholders.
Produces sketches, workflow diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, design guidelines and style guides.
Works across functional teams to understand business and feature requirements.
Teams up with User Researchers and other Designers to maintain consistency across the digital ecosystem and solve cross-application design challenges.
Collaborates with IT partner teams to understand the technical possibilities and constraints.
Participates in usability studies and metrics deep dives to assess and optimize the performance of new and existing features.
Provides constructive feedback on peer designs.
Educates on the importance of following a User-centered Design process.
Contributes to the creation and evolution of design principles, guidelines and patterns.
Demonstrates ability to work with product and technology teams to flesh out UX/UI requirements and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Relationship and People Management
Guides, mentors and inspires other designers in the team, keeping up with the design industry evolution including best practices, new trends and technologies.
Provides feedback and direction to ensure intuitive and innovative solutions and drive consistency following established design principles, guidelines and patterns.
Collaborates internally and externally to continuously evolve team process and design practice.
Creates an environment that fosters internal and cross-team collaboration.
Experience designing transactional user experience flows (e.g. pay a bill, e-commerce, service a product/account)
Telecom or E-commerce experience is a plus
