The State Employees Credit Union of NC has the following position open in our IS Engineering Department:


Unified Communications Engineer role will be designing, building, managing, and troubleshooting tier 1-3 level support of a Cisco Unified Communications System.  This includes Unified Communications Manager 9.x and above, Unity, Cisco Presence, Cisco Emergency Responder, UCCE, CUBE/ASR, QoS, H323/Skinny/SIP/MGCP, UCS.  Candidates must be competent with UC tools such as RTMT.


  • Good Attitude – Team Player.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Cisco Unified Communications Technologies.
  • Must complete SECU’s basic module program within 24 months of hire as a condition of employment.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop innovative solutions to business and technology problems.
  • Communication and organizational skills are essential.
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and prioritize appropriately.
  • Require ability to work independently and to cooperate and collaborate with a team.
  • The engineer must be versatile and adaptable to working with multiple vendors.
