VEGA IS HIRING! Actively looking for a VDI/VMWare Administrator. This is a long-term contract role with our direct Healthcare client. This is looking to interview and start asap!

This role will be remote until the client is ready to open their doors, post COVID. Once doors open back up, the candidate must be able to work from the office in Washington, DC.

Primary responsibility is efficient operation and development of the corporate Desktop and VDI VM infrastructure. Includes administration, installation configuration and maintenance of Windows Desktops, and VDI infrastructure. System administration, including account administration, file permissions, access control levels, quality access reviews, audit documentation, virus protection and firewall services as related to the Windows environment; operating systems support and maintenance. Receives guidance and tasks from the Lead Engineers for system implementation.

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure technologies: 
    • AD& LDAP
    • VDI, Desktops, SCCM
    • Network
    • Powershell scripting & Application upgrade
  • Strong communication skills - both verbal and written
    • Strong documentation skills are a must, to outline the design
  • Ability to analyze and trouble-shoot Mid-tier/infrastructure issues.
