At Trillium, we assist our clients in finding just the right candidates to fit their needs! They are currently seeking a Vice President of Business Development to help grow the company based on key business insights & a deep understanding of our business.

The person filling this position must have prior experience selling project-based services solutions. The individual must have experience talking to key decision makers about trends in the market. The individual filling this position will be primarily responsible for establishing new accounts. The responsibilities of this position include consulting with high-profile clients to analyze their organization's business goals.

Key KPI's for this role include:
  • Add 5 new accounts for Company within the first year.
  • Sell $2MM of new client sales
  • New Lead Generations and Conversion Rates to Opportunities
  • New Opportunity Development and Conversion Rates to Deals
  • New Revenue Generations
  • Sell services with an average Gross Margin of over 30%
Responsibilities:
  • As an individual contributor, owning the revenue and margin objective for the company while being help jointly being accountable to Gross Margin delivered from sales
  • Full pipeline management: Lead generation, stage-gate pipeline management and closing and onboarding of new accounts, as well as ongoing management of relationships post sales to maintain and grow wallet share.
  • Negotiating profitable contracts that the organization can deliver
  • Communicating and managing the sales plan
  • Establishing and cultivating leads
  • Establishing and cultivating leads and managing the entire pipeline process
  • Converting leads into opportunities and opportunities into new accounts to meet the Revenue and Margin Goals of the Company
  • Desire to partner with other service lines in Company to expand our presence at existing accounts.
  • Have an existing contact base of buyers of Private Equity (PE) and PE-backed buyers
  • Collaborating with management on any contract terms that are not consistent with our standard offerings
  • Communicating all account contract obligations to operations and finance to ensure the organization understands what is required to meet contractual obligations
  • Leading by example and ensuring the values, behaviors and norms of the organization are followed
  • Proven ability to build relationships with key decision makers to execute sales strategies.
  • Aggressive hunter that is independent and inspired by results
  • Ensure excellent client service and satisfaction
  • Promote positive relations with clients and partners
Qualifications:
  • Must have a minimum of 7+ years of experience in consultative / trusted advisor sales
  • Ability to build successful relationships with decision-makers within corporate Finance and end user departments
  • Proven experience of growing a book of business within the PE and PE-backed Fund and Portfolio company environment.
  • Proven experience in opening new accounts
  • A proven self-starter with a high level of self-sufficiency
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Prior experience building successful relationships with key Operations and Finance executives, department managers/directors and technical evaluators
  • Organized, flexible and goal oriented
  • Customer service driven
  • Strong work ethic and proven ability to work effectively in a fast moving, team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to develop new business
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate the firm's business model in a compelling way
