Position Summary
The Vice President of Marketing (VPM) leads the company's branding, website, social media, demand generation, product messaging, market segmentation, events strategy, and marketing campaigns to drive sales and revenue growth.

The VPM facilitates the evolution of brand positioning, bringing it to life in a clear and consistent way that resonates with and motivates the target market. The VPM promotes the company as an innovator and oversees outbound customer-facing communications across the website and social channels. A key deliverable is the design and execution of go-to-market strategies for new solutions.

In this hands-on role, the VPM interfaces with internal and external stakeholders, leverages exceptional communications skills, researches and defines target audiences, develops marketing and communication strategies, and measures outcomes using dashboards and analytics.

The VPM collaborates with the Chief Revenue Officer and other team members to nurture relationships with key partners, align mutual goals, and drive adoption through co-marketing efforts. The VMP also conducts client and market research, serving as a voice of the customer to bring insights to cross-functional stakeholders across product, design, user experience, development, and executive leadership.

The VPM builds, supports, and develops a high-performing marketing team to execute strategy. The VPM develops and manages the marketing budget in collaboration with the Chief Revenue Officer.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the marketing strategy and plan for initial and future products - including campaigns, events, digital marketing, social media, and PR
  • Design, execute, and optimize digital marketing programs
  • Manage social media presence and direct programs to capture a targeted share of the voice in social media
  • Develop and execute lead generation and business development campaigns
  • Maintain brand standards and ensure compliance across all marketing and communications channels
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget to focus resources on revenue growth in new and existing customer bases
  • Develop and implement dashboards for ongoing assessment of marketing effectiveness, with performance measured against best-in-class peer groups
  • Track and monitor program execution against quantitative objectives, with accountability for tangible results
  • Develop a high-performing marketing team, coaching them to exceptional performance
  • Build and maintain current knowledge about markets, personas, prospects, and existing customers
  • Conduct market research and competitive analyses
  • Gather and analyze product performance, operational metrics , and win/loss analysis
  • Drive awareness, consideration, and retention from both our existing customers and our prospects
  • Manage external marketing communications to public stakeholders
  • Manage special events, including conferences, collateral materials, company presentations, and staging

Education
  • Master's degree in Marketing or a related field preferred

Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience - including digital marketing - in Software as a Service
  • Some sales experience helpful
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of management experience with demonstrated team outcomes

Eligibility Requirements
  • Unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

Office Location & Travel
  • Remote work from a home office
  • Some travel to company-related events required
