Job Description


Position is responsible for providing the firm s users with level 1st and 2nd support either in person, by phone or remote assistance. This role will complement the global support team, serving as an IT point of contact, owning and driving tasks, projects, reported issues, security alerts and user requests through to completion. Ability to break down problems to effectively troubleshoot and work through hardware/software issues is a key requirement. Daily responsibilities also include configuration/maintenance of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, servers (both physical and virtual) and IT managed infrastructure. All IT global members carry the responsibility to immediately responding to security or incident events, to limit risk and mitigate threats against the firm s network and global platforms.


  • Respond promptly to user requests for technical

  • Install, support and maintain desktop technology equipment. This includes installing, configuring, diagnosing, repairing, patching and upgrading platforms and equipment whilst ensuring systems operate at their optimal

  • Own problems through resolution whilst ensuring problems and fixes are login in IT Support s knowledge

  • Provide out of hours support and perform out of hours on-call duties on a schedule and rotation basis.

  • Assist with setup and support of local and global video conference

  • Create and administer user accounts and privileges upon approval, ensuring this aligns with the company establish IT security

  • Create and modify phone and voice mail accounts via the phone system management

  • Understand and adhere to the firm s operational and security standards to ensure IT complies with and adheres to documented audit

  • Install, configure and support mobile devices such as tablets, cellphones and other

  • Monitor and respond to security alerts from either internal monitoring systems or by third party support

  • Drive vulnerability remediation tasks and assist with patch management

  • Notify management of potential problems associated with enterprise

  • Maintain operational, configuration and other procedural

  • Managing hardware and inventory control of all company owned and end-user issued equipment.

  • Ensuring data backups and DR platforms are operational and are up to date in accordance with corporate data protection and retention

  • Support company s infrastructure environment that includes server, hardware and networking platforms to ensure optimal operating

  • Work as part of a globally distributed support and engineering group, providing level 1st & 2nd support for the firm s IT managed

  • Own and manage problems/incidents with third party vendors and drive though to


  • University degree in Information Systems, or equivalent work

  • 5-year experience supporting a similar environment

  • Proficiency with Microsoft desktop applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Win10, Microsoft365 and Microsoft Office tools such as In-Tune.

  • Ability to work independently and function as an integral part of

  • Excellent desktop/servers troubleshooting, and performance analysis skills demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment prioritize multiple tasks, and problem solve under pressure of deadlines and resource

  • Proficiency administrating a local area environment including network servers, workstations, tape drives, tape media and

  • Perform checks of all conference rooms daily/weekly

  • Work closely with the IT Services and Operations Manager to mature support capabilities and service

  • Proven ability of performing under time pressure and working to tight deadlines

  • Basic understanding of telephony, video conference and networking

  • Strong problem-solving

  • Excellent oral and written communication

  • Must comply with established IT security framework and responsible to help mature process into Business as Usual
