Job Description

Identify Recruiting has an immediate 6-9 month contract need with one of it's direct client in the downtown area of Los Angeles, CA.  Interested and qualified candidates can apply directly through Dice and will be contacted promptly.  The Active Directory / Windows Systems Administrator is responsible for supporting our Active Directory Services and Deploying and Supporting our Windows-based servers.


  • Windows OS administration and support
  • Microsoft Active Directory administration and trouble-shooting
  • Windows Server System Administration
  • Basic VMWare tasks
  • Ability to work effectively with customers and coworkers at various levels
  • Ability to coach and mentor junior members
  • Effective organizational, writing, and communication skills
  • Ability to work with numerous support teams
  • Provide Tier 2 support to front line support specialists
  • Create and administrator user and service accounts and AD group membership


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Must have at least 5 years of systems administration or systems engineering experience with:
  • Expert knowledge of Window Server and Windows 10
  • Active Directory, LDAP, DNS, DHCP, networking, UAC, wiki and other knowledgebase server tools, VPN, firewalls, Database hosting and support, DBMS administrator, SQL, AD Group Policies, Windows Deployment Services, PowerShell, batch and shell scripting
  • Server Administration (Physical and virtual or cloud-based), Windows Server, Mac OS X server, Linux, VMware vCenter/vSphere, Amazon AWS EC2, Office 365 administration, MS Azure inclusive of system monitoring tools
  • Basic Scripting Skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python, .Net, C#, JavaScript)
  • Storage administration of NAS, SAN, RAID technologies, back-up management, disaster recovery
  • SCCM, MDT, Dot Net Experience a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem solving skills and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Project.
  • Experience in the development and implementation of standards, procedures and guidelines to support operational processes.
